Pregnancy and CrossFit

We are proud to present our first mini docu-series, Pregnancy and CrossFit!

This short 4 minute video highlights one of our amazing athletes Sharee Anderson, who is due April 13th, 2024!

Sharee is an incredible athlete and has continued to work out at CFP throughout her entire pregnancy.

We know there can be some conflicting guidance out there when it comes to pregnant women and exercise, but what we do know is that there are many reputable studies that have shown that women who exercise throughout their pregnancy and maintain a higher level of fitness typically have:

1. less risk for pregnancy complications

2. better ability to cope with the physical demands of labor

3. quicker recovery times after giving birth

4. other physical and mental benefits

This video explores Sharee’s personal experience as a pregnant athlete, and what she would recommend to other female athletes if they are pregnant.

Our coaches at CFP are highly trained and do their diligence in collecting information from reputable sources in order to provide the best experience for pregnant athletes. They commit to scaling individual exercises and workouts to achieve the workout stimulus, while also keeping mom and baby safe.

We here at CFP are proud to offer quality coaching to pregnant athletes and are here to help answer any questions you may have, just reach out! We would love to have you in our community.

Enjoy!
