I was born and raised in Phoenix, AZ. I moved to Flagstaff in 2008 and fell in love with the landscape and community and have lived here ever since. I have always led an active lifestyle but it wasn’t until my mid-twenties that I was encouraged to try functional fitness in the form of CrossFit. After completing my first WOD (Workout of the Day), I was hooked and eventually became a coach at my local CrossFit gym. Coaching quickly became my life passion which led to quitting a corporate job and opening my own garage gym. I enjoy helping my clients become stronger inside and outside the gym through revealing their untapped potential. CrossFit gave me the courage, power, and discipline required to live my best life. I want to give that gift to others.

Holding the line on virtuous movement and coaching.

I started CrossFit with my husband, Mike, in 2004.  While I was a trainer and outdoor athlete for many years prior, CrossFit struck a chord in me as being the best way to train the body to not suck at life.  But also as a lifestyle, a mindset, and a way to change the world for the better.  To do that, I started a CrossFit affiliate in 2006 and joined the CrossFit seminar education staff.  I have grown in that role to become a Flowmaster and Mentor, and a coach of coaches.  Bottom line, I didn't choose CrossFit.  CrossFit chose me.  And I want to use it for the best possible good I can, as far reaching as possible.  It is my mission to change the world one life at a time by elevating functional fitness, transforming self-perception, and building community.

I was born in California but raised in a very small community right outside of Flagstaff where I spent most of my childhood playing outside, riding horses and exploring all the different places I could go right outside my backdoor.  I did not begin my fitness journey until after I had my daughter in 2013, where I just wanted to lose weight and feel stronger inside and out.  I started running and quickly got hooked on the feeling of being challenged.  I eventually went on to run multiple marathons, a couple ultramarathons and many other shorter distance races and went onto finish a half ironman.  One could say that I was drawn to endurance. I was introduced to a CrossFit style class when I joined one of the local gyms to work on strength training and quickly realized that CrossFit is not just a workout, it was a style of training that would prepare someone for whatever life threw at you, be that a mental challenge, emotional and of course physical challenges.  I realized while I loved endurance sports, I was absolutely addicted to the immense physical and mental challenge that CrossFit provided and how there was a whole community of like-minded people that rose to these challenges together. As a Coach I want to help people reach their goals in the walls of the gym by providing knowledge, guidance, and encouragement to face these challenging workouts.  In my coaching journey, I hope to empower athletes and show them that as individuals and a community we can DO HARD THINGS, both inside and outside of those gym walls.
